Carl B. Phillips & Bishop Brandon Holland & Greater Christ Temple Church - "Good To See You In Church" Today (feat. Rashyeda Lewis)

For this release, Carl B. Phillips worked with Bishop Brandon Holland and Greater Christ Temple Church. Bishop Holland, who succeeded his father as pastor, started a new Sunday tradition of welcoming everyone. Inspired by this, Carl, the church's minister of music, wrote and composed the welcome song "Good To See You In Church Today."

Carl, a member of Greater Christ Temple for five decades, expressed his desire to create a song that would be welcoming to visitors, and easy to sing.

Motivated by this atmosphere of radical hospitality, Carl collaborated with Detroit's rising musician Joseph Crumble for the musical production, and features one of his nieces, Rashyeda Lewis, on lead vocals.

“Good To See You In Church Today” is the definitive “Welcome Song” for the modern church.
